House DJ & producer David Mel is one of the most promising fresh artists from the Adriatic region and definitely the one to watch right now. He has had an amazing summer, playing pool, beach and regular club parties while catering to some of the best record labels in the industry: his latest tracks and remixes were released on Ultra Music (remix for Double Exposure’s Everyman), Pacha Recordings (Just Like That) and Tiger Records (You Should Be & Sexy), while in the past he already pushed his sound through prominent labels such as Neptuun City, Casa Rossa, Disco Bomb, Teddybear Records, Luxury Trax and Housepital. The Babysitters remix of his track Fire released on Teddybear Records was charted in the Beatport House Top 100 chart reaching the top 40 and was featured on Hed Kandi’s Fit & Fabulous compilation. You Should Be with Dave Rose entered the top 20 on Beatport’s Chart. It was also featured on Beatport’s front page and was one of the 10 Must Hear Tracks the week it was released. Cuba, his collaboration with Gary Caos & Saleem Razvi has also been climbing the Beatport House Top 100 chart and reached the #24 position. David, whose very organic, vocal driven and disco infused filtered sound reminds us of the golden years of American east coast house or the subsequent rise of French house sound, is a regular face in the DJ booths of the hottest clubs along the Adriatic Riviera and Greek party islands. He played in Germany and Italy though the crown jewel of this summer was his performance at the Ultra Europe festival on his birthday. On top that, his remix for Double Exposure on Ultra Music was released the same weekend.
